Wicked Local Pembroke

The 41st Grand Ol' Fish Fry, sponsored by the Pembroke Historical Society, was held Sunday, May 7, 2017 at the Herring Run (Thomas Reading Memorial Herring Run Park) on Barker Street. Lori and Jason Cook and their crew from The Fork in the Road Catering/Bryantville Deli prepared fish cakes, hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch and visitors were treated to duck races, face painting and more. The Grand Ol' Fish Fry is the largest fundraiser for the Pembroke Historical Society and is crucial to its future and continued maintenance and restoration of three historic buildings the historical society maintains: The Museum Building (formerly the Bryantville Schoolhouse), The Adah Hall House, and The Friends Quaker Meeting House.
