MET funds available for fish passibility assessments

The Mass. Environmental Trust is seeking organizations to assess culverts and other road/stream crossings for passibility of fish in the Taunton Watershed.

The Request for Responses is now posted to the state RFR site, www.comm-pass.com.

An information session for this RFR will be held February 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the offices of the Southeast Regional Planning and Economic Development District (SRPEDD), 88 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780. Responses are due on March 1, 2012 for assessments that will be conducted by June 30, 2012.

To access the RFR directly,

1. Go to http://www.comm-pass.com

2. Select the "Solicitation Search" link

3. Enter EEA 12 MET 02 in the Document Number field

4. Select the Search button

5. Click on the search result

6. Select the View icon for the matching record to access all current information

If you prefer a copy of the RFR e-mailed directly to you, please feel free to contact MET directly. Please note that responses must be received on or before March 1, 2012.

Also, the Mass. Environmental Trust is an important source of grants for project that benefit all migratory fish.
